Law No. 53-05 on the electronic exchange of legal data

This law establishes the regime applicable to legal data exchanged electronically (cryptography) and electronic signatures. It also determines the legal framework applicable to operations carried out by electronic certification service providers, as well as the rules that these providers and the holders of issued electronic certificates must follow.

PS: The preliminary chapter and Title II of Law No. 53-05 on the electronic exchange of legal data, promulgated by Dahir No. 1-07-129 of 19 Kaada 1428 (30 November 2007), are repealed by Law No. 43-20 on trust services for electronic transactions.
