The maCERT(Moroccan Computer Emergency Response Team) is the center for monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber attacks. The management direction of this center, which is one of the four directions of the DGSSI, is responsible for implementing, in coordination with other administrations, systems for monitoring, detecting, and alerting events that could affect the security of the state's information systems, as well as coordinating responses to these events.

It is evident that with the continuous increase in the use of information systems and their crucial role in business processes, the establishment of a national structure to protect these systems has become an absolute necessity, especially to support the country's development in all aspects.
The creation of maCERT is part of the effort to strengthen Information Systems Security, with objectives including availability, integrity, confidentiality, and traceability.
