The Council of Ministers has adopted Decree No. 2.22.687 for the implementation of Law No. 43-20 on trust services for electronic transactions.

The Council of Ministers, chaired by His Majesty the King, Supreme Chief and General Commander of the Royal Armed Forces, adopted Draft Decree No. 2.22.687 concerning the implementation of Law No. 43-20 on trust services for electronic transactions during its meeting held on October 18, 2022. This decree aims to establish the regulatory framework necessary to facilitate the implementation of various trust services as outlined in Law No. 43-20. It specifically defines the rules applicable to each trust service, aligning them with current international standards.

Additionally, the decree outlines the accreditation and declaration regime for trust service providers and clarifies the procedures for prior declarations and permissions related to the import, export, or provision of cryptographic means and services.
