The organization of this event is part of the dynamic development of the National Health System, which His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, has called for reforming and restructuring to ensure the efficient implementation of social protection and health coverage initiatives. It also falls within the framework of the implementation of the provisions of Law No. 06.22 on the health system, particularly the fourth pillar which concerns the digitization of the health sector, through the creation of an integrated information system allowing for the collection, processing, and utilization of all basic health system information.

In addition to emphasizing the importance of protecting data and information in this sector, considered of Vital Importance according to Law 05.20 on cybersecurity, the seminar allowed healthcare professionals and senior executives of public and private healthcare institutions to be presented with the main cyber risks threatening the continuity of their establishments' activities and even the health and safety of citizens, as well as proposing the best practices and regulatory approaches to be adopted in this field to prevent and mitigate these risks.
