This law aims to ensure effective protection of individuals against the misuse of data that could infringe upon their privacy and to harmonize the Moroccan personal data protection system with that of its partners, particularly in Europe. Additionally, the law establishes a National Commission for the Protection of Personal Data (CNDP).
