Today, industrial systems widely use information technologies, although they were not designed to face the threats these technologies introduce. For this reason, industrial systems are increasingly concerned, and probably even more so, than other information systems by cybersecurity issues.

To address the growing challenges and risks surrounding industrial information systems, the DGSSI has developed this guide, which has the following main objectives:

•  Raise awareness among concerned actors about the vulnerabilities of industrial information systems;
•  Propose a set of measures to improve the cybersecurity level of these systems.

This document is addressed to all actors (responsible entities, project managers, buyers, equipment manufacturers, integrators, contractors, etc.) involved in the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of industrial systems.
