In accordance with Article 36 of Law No. 05-20 on cybersecurity, a crisis and major cyber events management Committee is established, alongside the cybersecurity strategic committee, tasked with ensuring coordinated intervention in prevention and crisis management following cybersecurity incidents.

COMPOSITION

In accordance with Article 6 of Decree No. 2-21-406 implementing the cybersecurity law, the major cyber crisis and incident management committee, chaired by the General Directorate of Information Systems Security, is composed of representatives from the following authorities and organizations:

•  The governmental authority in charge of Interior;
•  The General Inspectorate of the Royal Armed Forces;
•  The Royal Gendarmerie;
•  The General Directorate of Studies and Documentation;
•  The General Directorate of National Security;
•  The General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance;
•  The 5th Bureau of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces;
•  The Inspection of Transmissions of the Royal Armed Forces.
