The General Directorate of Information Systems Security (DGSSI) organized an information and awareness seminar on "the challenges and perspectives related to the development of national cybersecurity skills" on January 25, 2024.

This hybrid-format seminar, attended by nearly 200 participants, aimed to initiate a debate between cybersecurity professionals and various stakeholders in the field of training, focusing on the substantial challenges in the pursuit of cybersecurity skills in Morocco.

The session was structured around three panels in which participants explored skill development in Morocco according to the following dimensions:

•  Skill development at the heart of national digital and cybersecurity strategies;
•  Challenges related to the alignment between training and employment;
•  Cybersecurity job reference framework as a structuring approach.
