The launch of the 6th edition of the specialized master's degree in Information Systems Security

The DGSSI will launch the 6th edition of the specialized Master's program in cybersecurity at the INPT for the benefit of engineers from the DGSSI, administrations, public institutions, and operators managing public and private Vital Infrastructures.

 

Objective

 

This Master's program was developed in partnership with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT). The General Directorate of Information Systems Security aims, through this Master's program, to contribute to the development of national expertise in cybersecurity by training professionals capable of understanding, in all its dimensions, the issues related to Information Systems Security (ISS).

This training places particular emphasis on emerging technologies and includes modules preparing students for international certifications covering various aspects of information systems security.
 

Duration of the program:

 

Spread over a period of 4 semesters, the program leads to obtaining a specialized Master's degree in cybersecurity, awarded by the National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (INPT) and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education.

To allow candidates to continue their duties within their respective entities, the training will be conducted on a part-time basis, two and a half days per week (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning). However, certain modules taught by international experts may require candidates to be present beyond this period.
 

Admission requirements:

 

The Master's program is open, based on a selection process, to engineers and equivalent candidates from public and private institutions who must meet the following criteria:
 

 

  •  Hold a professional qualification at the BAC+5 level with at least 3 years of experience in an IT department;
  •  Demonstrate technical knowledge in information technology, and basic knowledge in Information Systems Security (past experience has shown the importance of this criterion for successful completion of the program);
  •  Possess professional proficiency in the English language (some advanced modules will be taught entirely in English);
  •  Be no more than 40 years old at the time of enrollment in the Master's program.

  •  An updated CV;
  •  A letter of motivation;
  •  A letter signed by the candidate's hierarchy (Minister, Secretary-General, or Director-General of the organization) authorizing the candidate to enroll in the Master's program;
  •  Copies of diplomas and certificates obtained.
