Conclave Cybersecurity Morocco

On the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, the General Directorate of Information Systems Security organized a conference on cybersecurity in Morocco from February 7 to 8, 2024. This international conference serves as an opportunity to gather eminent leaders, experts, and stakeholders in the field of cybersecurity. The agenda was carefully chosen to cover a wide range of challenges, opportunities, and collaborative initiatives in cybersecurity. It served as a crucial platform to foster regional and international cooperation, share ideas, and formulate strategies to enhance resilience in our increasingly interconnected digital space.

Day 1 :

 Opening Ceremony : Opening speech by the Minister Delegate in charge of National Defense Administration and distinguished guests of honor.

 Panel on International Collaboration : Discussions with speakers from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Ghana, Oman, and Egypt, highlighting regional cooperation, intelligence sharing, and legal frameworks.

 Panel on Digital Resilience : Leaders from the DGSSI, CNDP, ADD, and ANRT discussing the advancement of cybersecurity towards digital resilience.

 Panel on Securing Critical Infrastructure : Panel addressing the integration of risk and vulnerability management with business continuity planning, with key representatives from the banking, energy, logistics, and public sectors.

Day 2 :

 Panel on Regional Collaboration and Innovation : Panel on strengthening cybersecurity across Africa, highlighting the roles of ANCA and ITU, and the creation of national innovation centers and regional hubs.

 Panel on Private Sector Integration and Innovation : Approach to promoting innovation in cybersecurity through partnerships with the private sector, training, and awareness, with participation from representatives of the Canadian and Moroccan research and development ecosystems.

 Panel on Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems (OT/ICS) : Exploration of the challenges and opportunities for securing critical systems, focusing on proactive threat management and the integration of AI and machine learning.

 Panel: Crisis Management Simulation and Capture The Flag Awards Ceremony : Special session on crisis management with simulations and the awards ceremony honoring exceptional teams from universities and professional organizations.

 Closing Session : Summary of key takeaways and recognition of the collaborative efforts of participants.
