The General Directorate of Information Systems Security (DGSSI), in partnership with Smart Africa, will organize the African Cybersecurity Forum from February 3 to 5, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat, Kasr Al Bahr, in Morocco.

This event, organized under the high instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, reflects the Kingdom of Morocco's commitment to promoting enhanced cooperation in Africa in the fields of cybersecurity and digital transformation.

Titled : "Artificial Intelligence and Trusted Cloud: A Pillar for Strengthening Cybersecurity", this edition will bring together ministers, senior government officials, renowned experts, and industry leaders to discuss strategic issues related to digital transformation and securing cyberspace in Africa. 

Agenda :

Debates and workshops will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence and trusted cloud in:

•  Transforming cybersecurity and strengthening the continent's digital resilience;
•  Securing and optimizing industrial operations, with a focus on strategic sectors such as oil and gas;
•  Protecting major international events, including the World Cup and Olympic Games.

Highlights :

Alongside discussions, three key events will enrich the forum's work:

1. The annual meeting of African National Cybersecurity Authorities (ANCA), offering a unique collaboration platform for cybersecurity decision-makers.
2. A high-level meeting on Artificial Intelligence for Africa, organized under the aegis of Smart Africa, aimed at exploring strategic initiatives in this domain.
3. Specialized workshops dedicated to practical and interactive themes, such as:
   • Using artificial intelligence for threat detection;
   • Predictive analysis and security automation in DevSecOps;
   • Improving risk management.

Event Structure :

•  First day : High-level workshops and annual meeting of the African Network of Cybersecurity Authorities (ANCA).
•  Second day : Discussions on Africa's sovereign and resilient digital future, African AI Council meeting, regional cooperation, and harmonization of cybersecurity strategies at the continental level.
•  Third day : Specialized workshops, offering concrete perspectives and interactive exchanges.
