Update of the national directive on information systems security

In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 05-20 on cybersecurity and its implementing decree, the Directorate General of Information System Security (DGSSI) has updated the National Directive on Information Systems Security (DNSSI).

The new version of the directive, disseminated through Circular No. 2/2023 of January 12, 2023, issued by the Head of Government, notably takes into account changes made to the legal and regulatory framework and current best practices in the field of information systems security. It updates all security measures that entities and critical infrastructures must implement, both on organizational and technical fronts, to enhance the level of protection and security of their information systems.

Regarding implementation procedures, entities and critical infrastructures have a period of six (6) months from the date of publication to establish a schedule for implementing the measures required for compliance.
